I obtained my BSc. degree (Salutatorian) in 2009 in Telecommunication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, and my MSc. degree in 2011 in Electrical Engineering from EPFL.
Currently, I am a doctoral researcher at the Biomedical Imaging Group at EPFL . My research focuses on designing advanced signal/image processing algortihms for biomedical imaging applications.
Our paper "Wavelet Statistics of Sparse And Self-Similar Images" was accepted for publication in SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences.
I have given an invited talk at Siemens Corporate Research on regularized flow imaging.
All our ICIP'15 papers have been recognized as part of the “Top 10%” papers.
I will be presenting our recent research on flow-field imaging at the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP'15) in Quebec City in September.
Our paper "Divergence-free Wavelet Frames" was accepted for publication in IEEE Signal Processing Letters.
