This demonstration is a comparison of two approches of the multiresolution: the wavelets transform and the pyramid decomposition. The both can be obtain by filtering with functions based on splines.

Instruction to use the applet
  1. Choose an image to process.
  2. Choose the order of the Spline and the number of levels of the pyramid.
  3. Choose an operation.
  4. Press on the "Run" button to start the denoising process.
