The template matching demonstration is organized in two experiences:
The template matching demonstration convolves an image with a 3*3 kernel. With an appropriate definition of the mask , the algorithm can be used as a edge detector.
There are predefined masks to standard detectors, but you can also enter your own mask (Customize).
This tool can be used as feature detector.
The template matching demonstration does a centered correlation with a model taken from the image.
This model or template is taken from the image, this tool is a flexible feature detector.
