I don't really care how your pronounce my last name. :-) In fact, I frequently find it convenient to use only the second part of it (Tafti) in academic contexts. The sole purpose behind providing an IPA phonetic transcription has been to satisfy the curiosity of the highly respectable and not at all overly inquisitive visitors of this web site. ;-)
While you're at it, you might also wish to learn to pronounce the name of Bjarne Stroustrup (the self-referential nature of the previous phrase has been noted).
