Michael T. McCann is a postdoctoral researcher with the Biomedical Imaging Group and the Center for Biomedical Imaging Signal Processing Core, at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland. Mike is interested in developing algorithms and software for extracting information from bio/medical signals. He currently works under the supervision of Michael Unser on medical image reconstruction with a focus on computed tomography. Before that, he did his PhD in Jelena Kovačević's group (Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on histology image analysis. Even before that, he worked on EEG-based brain-computer interfaces with Jane Huggins at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
