Abstract
In order to work around the inherent limitations of traditional optical systems (resolution, depth of field, aberrations, etc.), a multitude of new, hybrid approaches that combine modified optics and signal processing have been introduced in recent years. In this seminar, I will present some of the tools used to design such systems and review a selection of key contributions to the field.
