AbstractThe primary focus of this talk will be tight wavelet frames of $L_2(\mathbb{R}^d)$. Basic properties of frames and tight wavelet frames will be covered, before introducing a new wavelet frame construction in dimensions $d \geq 2$. It will be shown how initial framesbased on an isotropic mother waveletcan be transformed into new frames using Fourier multipliers. Examples of the resulting wavelets will be provided to illustrate the construction.
