Abstract
With some people in the lab, we are working on the use of steerable filters to do fast and precise detections of patterns of interest present at unknown locations and orientations in an image. We aim at delivering a self-contained framework that achieves these goals, including the continuous-domain theory, the discrete-domain implementation scheme, and a user-friendly plugin. I will present these different aspects. This is ongoing work and your critical feedback will be highly appreciated.
