ImageJ plug-in for polyharmonic wavelet transform
2004
Master Diploma
Project: 00090
Recently, our group has proposed a new family of wavelets based on polyharmonic B-splines. These wavelets have interesting properties that might be useful for many applications. The aim of this project is to implement the polyharmonic wavelet transform in Java as a plug-in for ImageJ, a popular image processing framework.
This work can be based from one hand on our ImageJ plug-in for classical B-spline wavelets, and from the other hand on the Matlab implementation of the polyharmonic wavelets.
Some specific problems, such as the calculation of the autocorrelation filter and the proper handling of the quincunx subsampling scheme, need to be addressed.
