Analysis of the myocardial wall thickness using snakes
2006
Master Semester Project
Project: 00121

Measuring the myocardial wall thickness during the heart cycle is an important task in post-stroke diagnosis. In this project, in collaboration with the Geneva University Hospital, we want to explore the usefulness of new snakes with a limited set of parameters for this purpose. The aim is to analyse a sequence of MRI images, fit the myocardium, and quantify the wall thickness and deformation during the heart cycle.
