The Theory of Vector-Valued B-Splines

Master Diploma
Project: 00456
The goal of the project is to adapt the theory of one-dimensional B-splines to vector-valued splines. This involves defining them, exhibiting Strang-Fix conditions, proving that they have an optimal support and that they form a Riesz basis. Dependent on the student speed, he may also be asked to provide a python code for vector-valued B-spline based reconstruction of one dimensional manifold.
